By registering for NetHui, you agree to the following terms and conditions, and any other terms and conditions which may apply to NetHui, including but not limited to the Code of Expectation.
If your circumstances change and you can no longer attend the event, you may cancel your registration by emailing nethui@internetnz.net.nz. Refunds will be provided in accordance with the Refund policy above.
InternetNZ reserves the right to change the date, time, venue, content or speakers of, or cancel NetHui or any part of NetHui and will not be liable for any damages, costs (including any travel or accommodation costs incurred by you), losses or expenses of any kind incurred by you, as a result of postponing, rescheduling or cancelling NetHui or any part of NetHui.
In the event of a cancellation, InternetNZ shall refund the amount paid by you to InternetNZ for the tickets to NetHui, excluding any transaction, credit card, or other such fees.
If the event is postponed, rescheduled or cancelled by InternetNZ for reasons that are beyond its reasonable control, including as a consequence of a Force Majeure event (see below), InternetNZ may retain the ticket price and will not be required to refund the ticket price. InternetNZ will review refund requests, submitted in writing, for approval on a situational basis.
InternetNZ shall not be held responsible for any delay or failure in performance of its obligations to the extent such delay or failure is caused by fire, flood, strike, civil, governmental or military authority, acts of God, acts of terrorism, the availability of the venue or other similar causes beyond its reasonable control and without the fault or negligence of InternetNZ or its subcontractors.
If you are unable to attend NetHui, your entry ticket may be fully transferred to another person within your organisation or person (at the sole discretion of InternetNZ). You may make your transfer request by emailing nethui@internetnz.net.nz before 30 September 2024.
InternetNZ shall collect, use, share and store personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
If you are providing us with personal information about another person, then you must obtain all consents and approvals necessary at law from the relevant individual to enable us to collect, use, disclose, hold, and process that information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
All intellectual property rights at NetHui, the content and all materials distributed at or in connection with NetHui, are owned by InternetNZ and/or the Event sponsors or speakers. You may not use any of this intellectual property without our consent. This includes but is not limited to copying, modifying, reproducing, posting, framing, displaying, redistributing, uploading to a third party, downloading, republishing or transmitting in any capacity whether electronic, hardcopy or otherwise.
At the time of registration you will be able to select if you do not wish to be photographed/recorded at NetHui. Unless otherwise indicated at the time of registration, by attending and/or participating in NetHui, you grant InternetNZ the rights to use your image, name, voice or statements for our reasonable business purposes, without compensation or credit in any and all media. Photographs, video recordings, and any other type of recordings taken during NetHui, by InternetNZ or on behalf of InternetNZ, may include an attendee’s image, name, voice or statement. Speakers
The views expressed by speakers and presenters at NetHui are their own. InternetNZ does not accept any liability for advice given, views expressed or in any material provided to attendees, by any speaker at NetHui.
InternetNZ is committed to its obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015. Amongst other things, this requires InternetNZ to take all practicable steps to eliminate, isolate or minimise hazards that our event attendees are exposed to. This includes adhering to any health and safety requirements of the venue we use for NetHui. Health and safety is a shared responsibility.

These terms and conditions are governed by and will be construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of New Zealand.
